Current in-room beverage service, however modest or luxurious, typically presents drinking mugs open to dust and insects, or upside down with the rim touching a tray or furniture surface. Spoons are similarly exposed to the atmosphere, insects and surfaces guests see as unhygienic, consciously or unconsciously.
A TEAPY lid eliminates these concerns by covering the mug and spoon, and also makes tea or other infusions better for the customer, keeping the brewing tea hot, acting as a tea bag tidy when inverted and “docked” against the mug, and can be returned to the mug rim without re-flipping, to keep the perfect drink warm.
