After adopting the TEAPY T-4-1 tea service for their restaurant at the Rheged Discovery Centre near Penrith, where it was well received by customers and serving “colleagues” alike, Westmorland Family have now installed it in their M6 Tebay services, their first location. Having millions of visitors a year, a favoured stop for a cup of tea for many, the cafe is incredibly busy at most times of the day and night.

TEAPY T-4-1 has taken over from conventional teapot service, where its ideal brewing conditions makes the best possible drink for each customer, to their own taste. Customers can carry a complete tea service safely in one hand or with much more room on a tray for food items. There are fewer pieces to wash and store and fewer breakages.

Inventor of TEAPY T-4-1, Roland Hill proclaimed, “For decades, Tebay services has been the essential staging post in my journeys north. To see my TEAPY T-4-1 tea service there is a great thrill.”
