The World of Glass museum cafe in St Helens has changed its tea service from teapot service to the TEAPY T-4-1 complete tea service that can be held and carried safely in one hand.

Choosing the most robust of TEAPY T-4-1 sets with a toughened glass mug, Eastman Tritan TEAPY lid and a stainless steel milk jug and teaspoon, all virtually unbreakable, the cafe serves the local community as will as visitors from around the world.

The museum has glass-making structures and equipment from the first glass works on this famous site from 1826 to four generations of the Pilkington family including the inventor of the float glass process which transformed glass-making around the world.

Director of the museum, Pete Frost, enthused, “We love the TEAPY T-4-1 tea service and it is great to have another north-west of England invention in the museum.”
